Nashville, TN – December 2, 2020 – Country singer/songwriter Jillian Cardarelli to release new Christmas music and is slated to perform during The 98th Annual National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and virtual concert tomorrow, December 3rd starting at 5:00pm EST at www.thenationaltree.org. The virtual concert show will then be available to stream on-demand throughout the holiday season.
Other performers include American Idol finalist Colton Dixon; country singer/songwriter Jerrod Niemann; country music singer/songwriter and actress Kellie Pickler and singer/songwriter Matthew West to name a few. The National Park Service (NPS) and National Park Foundation (NPF) will not host a live audience at the 2020 National Christmas Tree Lighting; however, it will be lit every evening throughout December. Visitors are invited to President's Park to view the National Christmas Tree and 56 trees representing every U.S. state, territory, and the District of Columbia, decorated with ornaments designed by students from across the country.
"I'm really excited to kick off the Christmas holiday with a special performance for The National Christmas Tree Lighting,” said Jillian Cardarelli. “Then to be able to share my version of some of my favorite Christmas songs with fans is a real treat for me. This is truly the most magical time of the year.”
Jillian Cardarelli will release three holiday songs on these dates:
Friday, December 4th – “O Holy Night”
Friday, December 11th – “Blue Christmas”
Friday, December 19th – “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree / Baby Please Come Home” medley
Jillian’s music will be available on Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora and more; with the music videos available on her YouTube Channel.

Jillian’s holiday music comes on the heels of her latest single, “STRONG,” co-written with actor/artist Charles Esten (NASHVILLE / Outer Banks), was released to critical acclaim in September 2020. American Songwriter Magazine named the single one of 2020’s Most Powerful Songs. “STRONG” was inspired by Jillian’s mother’s battle with cancer and she is excited to partner with various cancer non-profits to share her story like Band Against Cancer, Gilda’s Club, Stand Up 2 Cancer and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
